Emmm btw standing in the water is NOT a good idea. That is how people get swept away.
It is awesome, in the true sense of the word, not the "groovy" way. It is very disorienting! I love water too, but... this is something quite different. It's intimidating how powerful it is.
I knew how deep it was (it's our road) and I was about one foot away from dry pavement. I'm a worrier, mother, so don't worry about me!
